Make Your Story Stand Out

Importance
The essay has always been the main way to make your application stand out and a way for the admissions team to get to know you beyond your results. Universities know they're bringing a new person on their campus and care about everything that makes that person, not just the intellect. Essays make up about 25-33% of every application. With many schools becoming test-optional, this percentage will only increase.
Method
Processes surrounding college essay guidance are often inadequate. Two most common ways of addressing college essays are essay reviews and ghostwriting.
You should avoid ghostwriting at all times. It is highly unethical and inauthentic -- lacking a unique voice which is exactly the function of a college essay in your application process. In a setting where universities receive thousands of applications, uniqueness and authenticity are essential. Essay reviews are highly focused on vocabulary and grammar, which is not what essays are about. They should tell your unique story and if you don’t write it well from the beginning, room for any improvement is limited, time consuming, and costly.
Throughout the years, our team has gone over thousands of college essays and developed the optimal method, one that tailors your own personal and unique experiences into a proven form and structure that wields results. We guide you through the writing process and ensure that you never lose your direction. It should be your goal to give the admissions team a memorable essay and we know how to help you achieve that.

How It Works
We will start with a one hour consulting session, where we will brainstorm ideas about how to best tell your story. This consultation will give you a personalized structure with content about your life and your story. The subsequent two edits will help you restructure the content if need be, nail your syntax and be proofread for grammar. The whole process guides your ideation of the essay into a succinct, eloquent and unique final product.
